Lemm’s Book Fair - January 19 - January 26

  • Your child will come home with a wish list after viewing the book fair with his or her class and you can look over the flier to discuss what to purchase. Lemm Scholastic Book Fair Link

  • Students can shop during the school day with their classes.

  • We encourage parents to include a note with any special instructions or guidelines for purchasing. It’s a good idea to indicate 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices on the wish list and mark out or list any books or items they are not permitted to purchase.

  • Parents can send cash in an envelope marked with their student’s name & teacher or purchase a digital eWallet from Scholastic to purchase items IF they wish. (Please be aware that unspent money stays on the eWallet.) Don’t forget to add tax- 8.25%

The attached flier showcases some of the titles that may be available at the book fair. We are limited by what actually gets sent or restocked to our fair.

You are under no obligation to purchase books!

  • Adults may shop with students in the LGI during the following times…

    • Friday, January 19th from 3:45 - 5:00 PM

    • Tuesday, January 23rd during Open House

    • Please park in the back lot by the garden and walk down the sidewalk towards the gym.

    • Credit, debit, and gift cards will be accepted during adult shopping times. (no cash at the evening events please)

  • Adult credit cards are preferred when purchasing in person. Students may not use credit or debit cards at any time.

Celebrate your child’s birthday and support the Lemm Library by donating $12 for a birthday book in your child’s name. Your child chooses a new book from the library office, we put a permanent book plate in the book, and your child gets to be the first person to check out the book. Once you fill out the Lemm Birthday Book Club form you will receive a message from School Cash to pay $12 for the book. (If you prefer to pay with cash please let me know)

  • Summer Reading Program

    BRINGING YOUR LIBRARY TO YOU!

Children who read during the summer don’t lose ground. They continue to build fluency and comprehension skills. The more children read, the better readers they become, and better readers are better learners. The purpose of The Reading Express is to ensure that every Klein student has access to library materials and programming throughout the summer. If the students cannot come to the library, we will take the library to them! For more fun reading information check out Klein Libraries Summer Reading site.
